Firstly I need to start by saying I never write reviews. I think I could count on one hand how many I've done. Jupiter's in Camperdown has been one of them and now Jupiter's in Summer Hill is the next. Honestly, it's the easiest review ever to write as Sam (the owner) has managed to take what he has achieved in Camperdown and redo it in Summer Hill with fantastic results. If there is anyone in Summer Hill needing a barber and don't know where to go, this is it. If you are looking for a new barber again this is it. Sam is not only an exceptional barber who listens to his clients but also provides advice and guidance (he has saved me before when I've had silly hair ideas, lol) and it is incredible to see how he has transferred this to the Summer Hill salon. Obviously Sam can't be in both places at once and that is the other area where he has shone. By his side and splitting their time between Jupiter's Camperdown and Jupiter's Summer Hill are Zac and Mowi (so sorry boys if ive butchered the spelling) who Sam has trained since they started in the industry. It is amazing to see how not only has Sam taught them the cutting skills required (these boys do killer fades) but they also have the same welcoming, friendly and professional attitude that makes it such a pleasure to go back time and time again. Jupiter's Camperdown is my local but after being a customer of theirs for so long I had to go to Summer Hill to experience it and can say it was exactly what I'd expected as Sam wouldn't have anything less for his customers. That's what makes his businesses so great, they all make you feel like a friend coming back for a haircut rather than a dollar sign and nor do you feel like you're rushed into a seat and out again asap. When you're sitting in they chair as far as Sam, Zac and Mowi are concerned that is your time with them, so until you are happy and they are too (they are all perfectionists when it comes to cutting hair) you are their most important customer.I've been a customer of Sam's for nearly 7 or 8 years now and prior to that I would go to a barber a couple of times then try and find someone new as a constant problem I find in Sydney is that people want your money but they don't actually want to provide you with any great kind of service, typically were rude and worse than anything would never listen to what you were asking for and discussing it with you so you'd always end up walking out with a haircut you hated. I think the longest I'd ever lasted with a barber was maybe 3 months. Whereas after my first haircut with Sam I was so happy and as time has gone on ut has only gotten better as Sam (and the boys) listen and will actually talk to you about what you want and if you ask for something that they don't think will work then they are honest about it which is the best customer service ever and why I've stayed for so long. They are the only 3 people I would ever let cut my hair though when Sam expands and he trains more staff I'd be happy to let them as well as with his training and guidance they will be carrying on what he has startedSo again, if you are in the Summer Hill area and looking for a new barber then don't hesitate to go to Jupiter's as you won't be disappointed.

I just had a haircut at Jupiter Barbershop’s new store in Summer Hill, and I couldn’t be happier! Sam and Zac are brilliant—Sam took the time to make sure everything was exactly how I wanted it, and the result was perfect. The shop has such a friendly feel, just like their original location in Newtown. If you’re after a great haircut and an all-around awesome experience, I’d definitely recommend them.
Can confidently recommend this place, been going regularly to their Newtown branch and though I could explore their Summer Hill location. The store itself is amazing and their service is impeccable.I have very difficult hair as its quite curly and frizzy, Sam (barber) really helped me find the right style for my face shape and hair type.The staff are incredibly friendly and they really make you feel welcome, would highly recommend this place.
I was the last customer of what must have been a long day and he treated me like the first. I usually just go to any barber but I think I’ve actually found one I’ll return to.Zach gave a great haircut. Knew what to do with minimal instruction. Head, short. Beard. Go!I’ve even reached the age where my hair ears and nose needed attention. My lobes have never been so smooth.Great to have a new local barber in Summer Hill and great guy. Zach says his dad also does the flaming ear hair treatment that I’ve seen on the TikketyTok. Get the extinguisher ready, I’ll give it a go next time.
Came in for the first time today and was extremely pleased with my experience, the barber was friendly and eager to get the best result for myself.After being unhappy with many previous barbers wouldn’t recommend Jupiter enough.Whilst being a standard haircut the experience felt personal and tailored to what I wanted.Thanks again guys
